What’s more interesting? Going to a bar or a speakeasy? Seeing live music in a club or turning your house into a music venue? These are just a couple of ways we explored how to take nightlife off the beaten path and into the realm of the unique and unexpected.
Don Julio is for people who are part of what I like to call the “new old school”. They’re instinctively drawn to the authentic, the well-crafted and the real. Vinyl over streaming, signed first editions over e-books, one custom-made suit over off-the-rack. And with the “know your tequila” campaign, we tapped into this mindset by inviting young connesiours to expand their knowledge of how a true luxury tequila is made and meant to be enjoyed.
Through print, retail, web and social, we brought new “Dons” into the fold – increasing national awareness and making the brand stand out from competitors who still think tequila is for doing shots on spring break.
When people think of faucets…well, actually, most people don’t think about faucets. They’re something you turn on and off. Delta was one of the first to change all that with super cool and innovative designs that made life in the kitchen just a little bit easier. Through TV and print we launched a campaign that asked people to take a moment and “see what delta can do” (which turned out to be quite a lot).
Wellpet is all about making 100% natural pet food that’s full of probiotics. That means your pup or kitty is getting the nutrients they need with no artificial ingredients that go to uh…”waste”. With our campaign “head to tail health starts in the middle” we helped them grow from a regional brand to a national one. We did TV, print and retail. I must add that casting for dogs is a hell of a lot more fun than casting for humans (slobber notwithstanding).
Hold the door open for the person behind you. Look people in the eye when you shake their hand. Never talk politics, religion or money at a dinner party. Yes, Ketel One is the vodka that brings out your inner gentleman. We took this “gentlemanly” essence and brought it into the modern age with the launch of one of the first branded spirits apps, then hammered it home with some sharp sponsorship and retail posters. Oh, and always remember to send a thank you note to your host (especially if you spilled a dirty martini on their living room rug).
